About Our Company

Nikolaus Tank Lines, Inc. was formed in 1975. Today, the company has grown to 24 trucks, serving Bakersfield, Fresno, Los Angeles, Colton and several locations outstide of California. We believe in hiring the right people and establishing a customer service program that is second to none.

Safety and Service—A Proud Tradition

We have an experienced staff familiar with all aspects of petroleum transportation and a fleet of trucks in tip-top shape. We have low employee turnover so that experience stays with us. With that comes a stellar safety record. Our drivers log more than 3 million miles a year!

We conduct ongoing safety training on working and driving practices and we do an in-depth investigation whenever there is an incident to determine whether it was preventable or not. All of our trucks are less than three years old and we run them until they hit the 500,000 mile mark. We believe looks are important too. That’s why all of our trucks are either semi-bright or completely polished and we have them washed regularly. We want to make the best impressions—for ourselves and for our valued customers.
